Frequently Asked Questions.
End-to-end guidance covering safety specifications, fitment, individual ordering, corporate procurement, site delivery, and product care.
1. Safety Standards & Compliance
01. Are your boots approved for MOM worksites in Singapore?
All Iron Strike safety footwear compiles with recognized safety standards for worksites, shipyards, and industrial complexes.
02. What is the difference between steel toe and composite toe caps?
Steel caps provide high impact resistance at a lower profile. Composite caps (fiberglass/carbon) offer non-metallic protection, lighter weight, zero thermal conductivity, and will not trip airport/facility metal detectors.
03. Are the outsoles slip-resistant and oil-resistant?
Yes. Outsoles feature anti-slip SRC/SRA ratings designed to grip wet, oily, and smooth industrial surfaces including steel decks and factory floors.
04. Do all models feature puncture-resistant midsoles?
Yes. Every puncture-resistant footwear includes integrated steel or anti-perforation composite midsoles protecting against sharp hazardous debris like nails, metal shavings, and glass.
05. Are these footwear rated for Anti-Static or ESD compliance?
Selected models feature Anti-Static (A) or Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection to safely dissipate static build-up in sensitive electronics and flammable chemical environments.
2. Sizing & Fitment Guide
06. What sizing standard does Iron Strike use?
We use standard EU sizing. Please refer to our product size chart to select the correct EU size prior to purchasing.
07. How should safety Footwear fit compared to regular Footwear?
Safety Footwear should fit snugly around the heel and instep while leaving roughly 5mm to 10mm of clearance in the toe box so your toes never press against the protective cap.
08. Should I size up if wearing thick work socks?
If you wear heavy cushioned safety socks daily or have extra wide feet, we recommend choosing one size larger than your casual footwear size.
09. Can I replace the factory insoles with orthopedic inserts?
Yes. The factory insoles are fully removable to accommodate custom orthotics or aftermarket supportive footbeds.
